"The pilgrims in this book have shared part of their journey with me and now do so with you. .... Each day of the week for six weeks there is an interview followed by a Bible reading, meditation or prayer -- sometimes selected by the person interviewed, sometimes by me. I have taken the liberty of contributing a number of the meditations myself, and these appear at random in the text. The book may be used by individuals and groups, and a suggested weekly format follows this introduction." -- Intro., p. iii.

A description of the "Transformation and Tradition in Global Mission Organisations Conference" held at the Lordos Beach Hotel in Larnaca, Cyprus from 12-18 February 2003. The conference gathered 115 Anglicans from 45 countries, representing missionagencies, boards and movements in most of the provinces of the Anglican Communion. Participants included Dr. Eleanor Johnson, Director of Partnerships, for the General Synod of the Anglican Church of Canada. There were four plenary sessions and 16 workshops on four tracks (theological education, leadership and management challenges, contemporary mission issues, and partnership models). In 1986 a similar conference was held in December 1986 in Brisbane Australia. It gathered persons representing mission agencies from nine Anglican provinces (including Canada) who met with "partner church representatives from a dozen other regions in the two-thirds world. There were 60 participants in all, only 7 of whom were women".
Also includes text of the Conference Statement on page 48 and listing of Planning Team on page 49.
