- Following the luncheon period, the following report was presented by the Archbishop of Fredericton for this committee:
- That the House of Bishops meet from Tuesday to Friday, incl., August 23 to 26 (this to be announced by Bishop Appleyard when finally decided); Saturday free, Sunday preaching engagements; Monday August 29 MSCC, GBRE, CSS meet all day; Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, August 30, 31, and September 1 National Executive Council. (The Archbishop of Canterbury will preach at a Service of Witness on the Wednesday evening.)

- (C) Concerning the source of funds to pay for the ten persons nominated by the Executive Committee of the MSCC to its Board, it was felt by MSCC that because these nominations must be approved by the National Executive Council that body should decide who would pay for expenses. It was pointed out that the same problem confronts the other Boards.

- That the matter of expenses for persons under Clauses c and d of revised Canons V, VI and VII be referred to the Board of Finance for study and report insofar as this relates to attendance at meetings of the Boards and of General Synod. (See 1965 Journal of Proceedings, pages 95-97.) CARRIED
