That in Section 1(b) line 4 delete "is" and insert "Division" after the word "Department" and before the words "and Boards."
Section 1(b)9. will now read:
"ix) Member means any person, whether or not in Holy Orders, employed by the General Synod, a participating Provincial or Diocesan Synod of the Church, or any department, division, or board thereof and as such in receipt of a stipend, salary, wages, or other remuneration. Every person in Holy Orders whose name is on the clerical register of a member diocese shall be a member of the Plan". CARRIED
That Section 28.8 of the Constitution be amended to read:
Each diocese's share of the annual assessment shall be paid in quarterly instalments to the General Treasurer of General Synod at the end of each quarter of the calendar year. CARRIED
That the National Executive Council accept the kind invitation of the Diocese of Toronto to be the host diocese for the 29th Session of General Synod. CARRIED
At the November 1976 meeting of the National Executive Council assignment was given to a Task Force to review Section 5 of the Canon on the Primacy and the role of the General Secretary and other Officers of General Synod and senior Executive Staff and their relationship to the responsibilities of the Chief Executive Officer and his Secretariat.
"5.1 The Task Force recommends that the Organization Committee be asked to consider and report to the National Executive Council on the advisability of making constitutional provision for the appointment of a Chancellor for General Synod who will be a legal advisor to the Primate. We suggest that his duties include those of the Registrar, and that the office of Registrar be abolished."

That this National Executive Council expresses its deep appreciation and commendation to the House of Bishops for their prompt and responsible decisions to implement the decision of General Synod with respect to the Ordination of Women to the Priesthood, and to Ministry in general. CARRIED
That in response to Act 67 of the Quebec General Synod, this National Executive Council authorizes the Officers of the Organization Committee to consult with the various committees of General Synod about the desirability, practicality and effect of including in their membership representatives of other Christian Churches, and make a proposal to the National Executive Council as soon as possible concerning this matter, including its extent and financial feasibility. CARRIED
