Prologue
Archbishop O'Driscoll requested on behalf of the bishops of the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario that consideration be given to shortening the length of the spring 1998 meeting to the afternoon of Tuesday, May 19 until the morning of Thursday, May 21. (The meeting was originally scheduled for Saturday, May 16 - Wednesday, May 20.) The request was made because of the number of meetings the members of the House are committed to during the spring and summer (five days at General Synod, and then three weeks in July and August at the Lambeth Conference.) Discussion followed.

Prologue
Amendments to the minutes of October 25-29, 1999:
- In the second sentence of the section on the 'Anglican Church Directory' (page 24), the word "not" was omitted after the phrase "information which can __...etc". That line was incorrectly minuted as "Electronic mail addresses are now personal infomation which can be published without prior consent...etc.". The sentence should have been written as "...Electronic mail addresses are now personal information which can not be published without prior consent...".
- Captain Reed Fleming was incorrectly referred to in two sections of the minutes, "Guests" (page 2) and "Church Army" (page 15) as "Ray Fleming".
