- Preceded by Monthly Letter Leaflet, the Letter Leaflet was established November 1888 and ran until October 1922. The Monthly Letter Leaflet was the newsletter of the Church of England's Woman's Auxiliary to Missions. It was renamed The Letter Leaflet when the Domestic and Foreign Missionary Society was formed and ran under that title from Feb. 1893 until December 1922. It was followed by the Living Message, 1923 to May 1986, and then the Anglican Magazine, Jan. 1987-Dec. 1991. Volume numbering was continuous.

- The Upper Canadian Travelling Mission Fund was established in 1834 by the new Bishop of Quebec, the Rt. Rev. Charles James Stewart (1775-1837), to convert and civilize the "Indians" and provide spiritual aid to the remote and destitute settlers in Upper Canada using district Travelling Missionaries. Reports and letters from the travelling missionaries were published to convince British Christians to support the cause.

- Microfilm consists of the Missionary Intelligence of the Late Bishop of Quebec's Canadian Travelling Mission Fund. 1844. Containing the Report and Correspondence of the Late Bishop of Quebec's Upper Canadian Travelling Mission Fund, edited by W.J.D. Waddilove.
- The names of the corresponding travelling missionaries include the Reverends Thomas Green, George Petrie, Richard Flood, T. Gibson, Ebenezer Morris, John Gibson, William Dawes, James Stewart, William Anderson, John Hickie, D. Falloon, and John Carey.
