Ted Wickson worked at the General Synod Archives writing historical sketches of Anglican residential schools and describing residential school photographs. Combining his interest in the residential schools with his interest in travelling, Ted Wickson decided to visit the sites of former residential schools. His travels covered Moose Factory, Ontario to Fort Simpson, NWT during the summer and La Tuque in October 2008. He photographed the sites and donated the images to the archives.
